Just arrived in Hourtin. This place has a church and a market. Hoping to get to Soulac sur Mer this afternoon. Getting close to the mouth of the Gironde.
Realised it's been a whole week and I haven't posted any smart-alec comments or abuse yet - many apologies! Sounds as though you're having a great time - pics look very nice, particularly the cycle way through the pine forest, and thanks for the soft-top/bike photo. If we ever learn to travel without luggage I'll give it a try! We had a hopeful meeting with the British Museum today so celebrated with a glass of champagne at St Pancras. Would have been cheaper to travel to Champagne and have a whole bottle… not really. Love, Roger xx
